The objective of Tamil Valarchi Manram  is to maintain mother tongue among the Tamil  youth in Australia and elsewhere AND to  develop  and Tamil prose and poetic literature to make the young generations to understand the value of the language , encourage them to participate in literary activities with the aim of sustaining the language for generations.
